Christina
Mauro, founder
- Christina Mauro is a native Texan who received her BA in both Theatre
and Psychology from the University of Houston. Upon arriving in Los Angeles,
she enrolled at Playhouse West Repertory Theater to study acting under
the tutelage of Jeff Goldblum.
During her time at Playhouse she turned
to producing and produced several short films, including The Boy
Scout.
The Boy Scout featured a cast including Dean
Hagland (The X Files) and Shane Black (writer
of The Last Boy Scout and
Lethal Weapon).
It has gone on to receive various awards in the U.S. and abroad. After
playing an integral role in the founding and development of another production
company, Ms. Mauro left to become the sole founder of Fly High Films.
Since its inception in the summer of 2003, Fly High Films has produced a variety
of shorts and features including 11 Minutes and Little
Big Top. Ms. Mauro continues to work with several writers
on the development of additional feature length scripts to be produced
by Fly High Films.
Jeremy
Juuso, financial

Jeremy Juuso is the author of Getting the Money: A Step-by-Step Guide for Writing Business Plans for Film and author of “The AKA Report,” a quarterly analysis independent films, their funding sources, budgets, etc. He also advises filmmakers and educates movie investors through Jeremy Juuso Consulting. Jeremy graduated cum laude in economics from Harvard College. Upon graduation he accepted a Harvard fellowship and taught economics at a British boarding school to students applying to Oxford and Cambridge. Since England, he has worked at MGM’s treasury and investor relations departments, the financial markets research firm Bigdough.com (now part of Ipreo Holdings), and Fly High Films.
