Principal photography on Fly High Films' production "Little Big Top" is almost completed as of August 8, 2005. With a small independent crew of mostly local folks doing the work of a Hollywood crew three times its size, battling poor weather and a lead actor with a case of pneumonia, all in all things couldn't be better.

Scenes utilizing the many members of Peru, Indiana?s nationally renown Circus City Festival are in the can, and the wonderful performances of this amateur circus troupe have a much deserved place on celluloid for all time.   

Actors Richard Riehle and Jacob Zachar, both in principal roles, are now on board for their scenes in the film. Two other principals, Mel England and Hollis Resnik, have recently wrapped their scenes and are moving on to new projects.

Director Ward Roberts is very pleased with the way the production is going: "I couldnt be happier with the way "Little Big Top" is coming together. Sid, Richard and the rest of our cast and crew amaze me each and every day. The trainers, performers and administrators of the Peru Circus City Festival have gone above and beyond my wildest dreams to bring thee incredible reality of their circus into our story. And without a doubt, the city of Peru is the most generous, enthusiastic and kind community we could ever hope to film in. This whole project is truly a dream come true."

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has also been taking a very proactive role in the production, lending support wherever possible. One of our producers, as well as First Assistant Director, Jessica Petelle-Slagle, has been acting as liason between the IEDC and the "Little Big Top" production. We thank the IEDC for its support.
