Synopsis

"Love never dies, it only stops breathing."

Fighting a horrible curse that kills anyone he touches, a young man tries to protect the woman he loves from the very thing she should avoid the most . . . himself.

Since the day he was born, there was always something different about William. A cloud of unfortunate luck seemed to follow him everywhere, leading men and women to their accidental deaths. Abandoned by his mother at the age of twelve, he was forced to wander from town to town, growing up cursed and alone. Now in his late thirties, William resides in the small town of Bisbee, and works in a mortuary doing maintenance as well as embalming. He speaks to no one, giving him an odd reputation amongst the locals.

It's not until a strange set of accidental deaths surrounds him that people begin to take notice of just how different he really is. Descending slowly into madness, William is revived by the arrival of Daisy Potter, a young woman in town for a friend's funeral. For the first time he is happy. For the first time he is smiling.

Unfortunately, all is not how it seems, and his connection to Daisy may be more than anyone bargained for. The looming secret of what happened that day in Potter's Field comes crashing down around him and everyone else in his path.
